Arizer Solo Description
The Arizer Solo Vaporizer is an advanced Portable Vaporizer that truly stands above the rest. This innovative unit is compact and lightweight, allowing the user to take this vaporizer virtually anywhere. Not only does it look great, but It's small enough to fit inside your pocket and weighs less than 2 lbs. Instead of using butane or alkaline batteries, the Arizer Solo Vaporizer features a high quality lithium ion battery that's capable of providing the user with over 3 hours of continuous use. No other portable or handheld vaporizer can last that long. The Arizer Solo Handheld Vaporizer is completely portable – it doesn’t require any cords or wires while in use. It also features an LED temperature control system that allows the user to adjust the vaporizing temperature accordingly. The Arizer Solo Vaporizer is very easy to operate and is capable of reaching vaporizing temperatures within 2 minutes. Quite simply, the Arizer Solo is more efficient and effective at producing vapor when compared to other portable vaporizers currently available.
Made in Canada by Arizer, the Arizer Solo is manufactured using only the highest quality components and materials. Unlike many other vaporizers that utilize plastic or vinyl tubing, the Arizer Solo Vaporizer uses high quality borosilicate glass for truly clean vapor production. This allows the user to really “taste” the vapor created from your herbs. Most other portable vaporizers utilize a relatively small herb chamber, which can restrict the amount of vapor inhaled by the user. This can make for a rather unsatisfying and frustrating vaporizing experience. However, the Arizer Solo Vaporizer utilizes an extra-wide herbal chamber that improves the airflow. By allowing more hot air to pass over your herbs, the vapor produced by the Arizer Solo is more robust and flavorful. Each unit also comes with a Lifetime Warranty that covers any defect related to the heating element.

It's the greatest portable vape. out and it can go for hours, but you will have to turn it back on from time to time b/c it turns off like every 15mins. I don't even write reviews for products but i was just compelled to speak out about this amazing gift to mankind. | "The Solo is a handheld portable direct draw vaporizer that has properties of passive convection heating. Pre-Purchase Inspection-Technically i didn't purchase this, i won it in Vapor Nation's Contest. I did do a lot of research on FC and VP(vaporpedia). I discovered that this was a very petite and efficient vaporizer. After getting rid of my MFLB, i longed for a portable to fill its place in convenience and mobility.A device that could supply me with satisfying clouds of vapor.I was a little worried/skeptical because of multiple Solo users complaining about chipping ceramic interior and smell that originated within their units. Initial thoughts(Unboxing/Before first use) Solo - Arizer did an amazing job giving birth to this portable powerhouse. I'-m impressed the Solo isn't as large as i thought, it easily rests in the palm of my hand. The unit is 4.5" tall ,roughly as long as my xbox360 controller and is the same matte black. The Solo has a good weight to it, about 181 grams(.4lbs) about the same as a Quarter Pounder from Mcdonalds. Wouldn't be heartbroken if it was knocked over or fell off a table, its very sturdy and solid with no moving parts inside. Fits in my pocket with ease and because of its low profile its easily concealable,at a glance most would think its a black stud finder if anything. Glass Accessories(mouthpiece and Aroma top) Seems to be Boro glass (Borosillicate) It's pretty thin and fragile but its gets the job done withstanding heats from 122F-410F. Preparation and Operation- So far I've used two different methods for the Solo, i didn't create them myself so i'm not taking credit. However i did come up with some names. *Make sure your unit is fully charged otherwise warm up times may vary depending on Battery strength* Pr-e-Heat Method -Grind your material until its to your preference(coarse) -Place material in stem until about 1/4 or 1/2 full. -Practice inhaling through the stem make sure there is some air circulation. --Power up unit(hold down both UP and DOWN buttons) -Select #/temp for your session ( Use UP and DOWN Buttons). -Wait for unit to warm up(1.5 minutes) -Once the LED next to your # glows solid you can enjoy -Inhale and stir frequently so more surface area is vaporized Simmer Method -Grind your material until its to your preference(coarse) -Place material in stem until about 1/4 or 1/2 full. -Practice inhaling through the stem make sure there is some air circulation. --Place stem inside Solo and Proceed to power up(hold down both UP and DOWN buttons). -Select #/temp for your session(Use UP and DOWN Buttons). -Wait for the unit to warm up.(1.5 minutes) -Once the #/temp's led you selected glows solid you can enjoy. -Inhale and stir frequently so more surface area is vaporized. The difference bewteen these two method is that in the "Simmer" your material has a chance to cook a little before your first inhale. This allows for better developed clouds, because more convection takes place.I started doing the "Simmer" out of habit of my Supreme Vaporizer ritual, placing material in and heating it so it cooks a little before sessions. *I-f you wish to get more out of your material, stir or grind material again and increase the temp* First Impressions(aft-er first successful use) *Before i used my solo i burned it in, by placing it on its highest temp for about an hour* I decided to use #2(365F) for my first hit, a decent amount of oils/compounds are vaporized at that temp..where a plethora of effects can be experienced. After my first successful hit,I immediately started clapping as i exhaled a delicious cloud of vapor. I wasn't expecting anything near what i experienced, maybe a small puff and a wisp of vapor when i exhaled but i inhaled something i thought could only be produced by a whip based vaporizer.Arizer really made something in a league of its own.A portable that can throw punches with the heavy weights(desktop-/table top units). Production Details The Solo is made in Canada Some glass parts made in China Safety and Precautions Th-e glass stems can get pretty hot when used and can still be pretty hot after your down using, make sure you have a place set aside to rest them safely. Applications This Micro heater can be used for various things.. With the aroma top it can be used as a aromatic therapy device, dispensing bountiful fragrances in the immediate area. With the stems they can be used to vaporize different herbs and concentrates whether it be for relaxtion or medication. Ca-n be used in collaboration with water filtration devices in order to cool down and moisture vapors for consumption. - Aesthetics and Design Very sleek and sophisticated. - The silver unit looks like something you would find in a well established chef's chrome filled kitchen, between the toaster and food processor with metallic finishes. The black unit looks like tool used by either an electrician or contractor, basically looks like a stud finder or a really expensive piece of equipment.Looks at home when placed against router/modem or other computer peripherals. - Design is well through out,its the perfect sized to be operated with one hand. The curves in the outer casing allows for you to have a grip when handling. Heating element is ceramic, like a majority of other vaporizers on the market but its powered by a li-ion battery.Similar to a cellphone it needs to be charged via wall outlet for about 4 hours. The Battery and wires/circuits are separate from the air path so it doesn't effect your vapor. Learning Curve You have to learn how to hit it. A lot of vaporizers let you just suck vapor through the mouthpiece, in order for the Solo to provide thick well developed clouds you have to sip it. as if your sipping a milkshake through a straw. Performance When charged the Solo performs best, heating up in under 2 minutes and vaporizing material soon after.I tried using the Solo on all 7 settings, i found #3 and #4 to be more desirable than #6 and #7. I prefer light vapor with a lot of flavor and great aroma, the higher numbers vaporize basically everything its harder to decipher what your tasting. Also the higher numbers give very dry and harsh hits, this is where water filtration would shine. I plan on using the solo at all 7 setting again but with water filtration to see how it compares with using the solo as just a direct draw unit. Overall Experience This unit is a paragon for those who desired convenience and mobility, with no sacrifice to taste or vapor spectrum exploration. With separate stems you would be able to have multiple people in on one session. If your limited on glass stems or vaporizer alone most of the time the solo will greatly cater to your cloud needs. It's been great having a chance to use such a good unit.I highly suggest this vaporizer to beginners and experienced vaporists alike." |

| "When it comes to portable ease, dependability, a non maintenance machine that provides real healthy vaporization in a smaller compact, longer lasting battery with this vaporizer. It fits in your hand like a big cell phone and although not digital -- just as good if not better as some of those portable digital ones. Easy on the hands no unscrewing or replacing things for arthritic, or other medicinal uses it's perfect. Don't blow your money on replacing screens and wires. This is high quality healthy portable vaporizing. Vapir's require constant new screens, chords, chargers, etc. The Magic Flight is basically a AA powered device so stop trying to call those "vaporizers". Also the size of herb chambers is much smaller on the other vaporizers I have tried. So if you're tired of holding batteries in to power the machine, or replacing screens and cleaning things...this is your real life saver-- Arizer Solo!" |

| "I've had my Solo for almost a year. It is the best thing I've ever bought, next to my Volcano. It is so convenient, minimal odor, huge smooth hits. It's so easy to use! My only complaint is that the battery could last a little longer. I am so glad VaporNation suggested it for me!" |

| "This is my first vape. I got this instead of a Puffit after reading reviews about it being cool looking but doesn't even work that well. YOU NEED TO GET SCREENS OR USE REALLY COARSE HERB. This is amazing, So much flavor that I wish most food was this good. Some things to notice is that its batter life is great, I vape a couple times a day I have never had this die, and I charge this only every 3 days. I bought a 1/2in screen its a bit big but it is nessecary since my grinder makes herb pretty fine. If not you will be picking out little pieces out of your teeth. Also the glass piece that it comes with are great for flavor but terrible for cleaning, and they heat up towards the bowl which can burn you if your not careful." |

| "Of my four vaporizers, this is far and away my favorite. I don't see myself looking for another one because I don't see how it can be improved other than one small thing....I'd like a plastic tip like you see on ecig vaporizers. I suggest a screen in the tube unless you like picking herb out of your teeth. Even with the screen use a course grind...otherwise it can be hard to draw. Aside from that...worth every penny." |

| "I bought this only as a portable. Something for before movies and concerts. I chose the Solo because I was a fan of Arizer. They make beautifully designed products. As soon as I tried it out though, I put the Extreme Q4.0 away and have only used this amazing little machine ever since. Very good temperature control. Nice little bowl and good draw resistance make it cooler on throat and lungs. All glass mouth piece. Now, I have two of them, one always charging as needed. As others have stated, a 1/2" screen makes for a cleaner draw. Easy to clean with very little maintenance. It works great and just feels really good in your hand." |

| "Works great, only takes one bowl to feel straight, quick and simple. Very comfortable to hold, has a great battery life an charges in about 1-2 hours at most. The only down side is the glass stems. On mine the glass stems are very loose to the point where they could fall off. It actaully happened to me twice but I caught them before they hit the ground. It also leaks a little due to the loose stems. I think I just got a defective unit because my friend got the same one but his is fine. Other than that it works great." |

| "I am saving a pile of money on grass! I have owned one for over a year, but only recently realized I was overfilling. It was great before, but now it's fantastic. An improvement of 100%. I recently bought another one which holds the stem more securely. With the added security of the new arizer holding the glass stem I find I am much more mobile and I can take it almost anywhere. I have found that if I keep it below 6 I will not cough, but if I set it to 6 I will cough if I take real big hit. So, I only go over 5 when I am am no longer getting productive clouds and I want to extract the last little bit of essence from the plant material. You cannot go wrong with this cloud generating machine!" |

Video Transcript:
What's up, everybody? Welcome back to VaporNation. I'm your host, as always, the Vapor MC, with your vaporizer education. And today, we're gonna talk about the Arizer Solo portable Vaporizer.
When you purchase your Arizer Solo, you've got the choice of either Silver or Black. Now, every Arizer Solo comes with an AC unit, so you can plug it into the wall to charge. You also get a straight drawstem, a curved drawstem, as well as an aromatherapy herb chamber. Now we're going to load the drawstem. First thing you're going to want to do is to grind up your herbs. Then, you're gonna take a pinch and load it to just below the top of the chamber. Then, you're going to take the Arizer Solo unit, and put it on top. The first time you insert the drawstem, it's going to be rather tight. Now, this is by design. Arizer wants to make sure that the glass stem fits snugly into the unit. It's important to charge the Arizer Solo for about an hour before you want to use it, because, unlike with some vaporizers, you're not able to charge and vaporize simultaneously. In order to turn on the unit, you're going to hit both of the up/down buttons simultaneously, the unit's going to beep (to let you know that it's on), and then you can select your heat setting. We recommend choosing either 4 or 5 for your first time because that's going to put you in the range of 375° to 390° Fahrenheit, which is the optimal vaporizing temperature. You can go higher if you like, to 6 or 7, but if your herbs are too tightly packed, then you do risk the chance of combustion. After the unit reaches your desired temperature, you want to want to wait about 45 seconds to a minute, and then you're going to see the glass stem fill up with a little bit of condensation. That's how you know it's OK to vape. So you want to inhale for about 5 to 8 seconds, draw kind of gently, and you'll get a nice cloud of vapor. Here we go... And that is the kind of cloud you want to see out of your Arizer Solo Portable Vaporizer. Get yours today at VaporNation, your online Vaporizer superstore. |

| Quick Instructions: | Step 1: To turn on the vaporizer, press and hold down both the up and down arrow buttons for a few seconds. Your Solo will begin heating to the standby temperature, close to the first heat level. Step 2: Use the arrow buttons to raise or lower your Solo’s temperature. The numbers represent the following temperatures: Level One - 50 C / 122 F Level Two - 185 C / 365 F Level Three - 190 C / 374 F Level Four - 195 C / 383 F Level Five - 200 C / 392 F Level Six - 205 C / 401 F Level Seven - 210 C / 410 F Note: 360 F / 185 C is the recommended level to begin experiencing vaporization, and then you can adjust according to personal preference. Step 3: Pack your herbs into the bowl end of the glass draw stem. Coarsely ground material is less likely to slip through the holes in the draw stem. Be sure to not over pack the stem, as this will prevent the proper airflow necessary for vaporization. Hold the Solo with the heating element facing downward and connect to the packed draw stem. Now flip the whole unit right side up. Step 4: Wait 10 to 15 seconds prior to taking slow and steady inhalations from the Solo. Draw lightly to prevent any material from being pulled through. Step 5: When you have finished vaporizing, turn the unit upside down and remove the draw stem. Be sure to clean out any excess material that may have fallen onto the heating element. Use the attached cap to cover the heating element when not in use. |
