NEWEST MODEL: DUAL V3

The latest incarnation of the Haze portable vaporizer, the Dual V3, features a ton of updated features for ultimate on-the-go versatility. The Haze Version 3 replaces all-purpose cans with specialized cans for dry herbs and concentrates for improved overall functionality. In addition, the Haze V3 also boasts a newly redesigned mouthpiece for easier access, improved inner housing materials and alcohol (ISO) resistant exterior materials, more durable heater seals and an advanced temperature regulator which functions more precisely and eliminates issues related to altitude, humidity, external temperature and air pressure.

Haze

FIRST OF ITS KIND

The Haze Vaporizer is truly a revolutionary unit. It's the first portable vaporizer of it's kind with dual heating chambers, allowing the user to vaporize two different materials (dry herbs or concentrates/oils) interchangeably. Every Haze Vaporizer includes a glass mouthpiece and stainless steel mouthpiece to prevent any interference with the taste of vapor. It's crafted with advanced patented heating technology for a rapid heat up time and efficient vaporization. The Haze includes a 10 Year Warranty - unparalleled in the Vaporizer industry! It currently comes in the following colors: midnight, graphite, orchid and absinthe. Each Haze Vaporizer is complete with 2 rechargeable batteries, wall charger, cleaning tool, material tool, 2 screens convection screens, 2 conduction screens, 2 all-purpose cans, glass/stainless steel mouthpieces and user guide.

FOUR TEMPERATURE SETTINGS

There are four distinct temperature settings on the Haze which are displayed on the front of the unit with LED indicators. The Haze can reach these heating temperatures within 90 seconds. Each heating chamber is separated by stainless steel protective walls that permit each chamber to heat up at different temperatures, allowing you to vaporize each of your materials at your desired temperature. Once at the desired temperature, Haze contains a patented heat-exchange mechanism that provides a cool vapor output.

LONG BATTERY LIFE

The Haze is powered by a long-lasting, rechargeable, external Lithium-Ion battery that is extremely light weight and portable. In comparison to other portable vaporizers, the Haze single session times are approximately 35% longer than its competitors. By utilizing rechargeable batteries, the user can make sure to always have a battery ready to go with no downtime.

CONDUCTION OR CONVECTION - YOUR CHOICE!

The Haze Vaporizer allows the user to choose between conduction or convection heating methods. Each unit includes a convection and conduction screen that allows for a more personal. vaporizing experience. Both screens are crafted from stainless steel. The conduction screen has been left with two sides open, allowing dry materials to have controlled exposure to the heating chamber. The convection screen is surrounded by four walls of stainless steel, but allows no direct contact between materials and the heating chamber.

Multiple problems after only 6 months of use Review by  on August 13, 2016

Cons Failing after only 6 months, short battery life

I'm about to contact Haze about this product. After only 6 months of use, the device has multiple problems:
1. The rubber piece that holds the metal bowl covers detached from the hinged door. I've reattached it (it just snaps on), but it won't stay on. No longer makes a good seal, so oven doesn't get a hot as it should and it leaks so you pull cool air through the oven each time you take a drag.
2. Turns off frequently. I think it's supposed to turn off automatically after 5 minutes or something like that, but suddenly it has started turning off frequently. Yesterday I had to toggle the switch twice to get through one oven's worth of material. Normally, it never shuts off during a smoking session. Did this multiple times yesterday and a few times in the days before.
3. Straw is next to impossible to pull out after a use or two. Burn a oven or two full of material and I have to use the back of the tweezers (included with the vape) or a flat screwdriver to pry the straw out. Allowing it to fully heat makes it a little easier to remove.
4. Slow to reach max temp after the first heating. New battery heats the over the first time pretty quick, but then slows dramatically. I dropped another $30 on the extended life batteries and it doesn't really help other than allowing you to heat the over four times instead of two. So, you're constantly charging batteries.
5. Regular batteries are almost worthless. You're lucky if you get two heatings out of the regular batteries. I'm using (and have only used) the official Haze battery charger and Haze batteries.
6. Switch has become very loose. So loose, that I'll bet within another few months, it will switch on just by shaking the vape. This may be a reason why it's shutting off all of a sudden. The switch may be loose enough to turn off just because of the amount of play in the switch now.
7. Hard to clean. I use the vape daily and clean it regularly. I can never get the ovens fully clean and there seems to be no way to get the cleaner brush or pipe cleaner the whole way through the holes in the over, so I don't think it ever gets fully clean. Feels like the airflow through the vape has been significantly reduced because I can't get it fully clean.
8. Smoking oil in this is ridiculous. The small white pad that you put the oil on turned black on the first use even though I had the vape set on 1 light. No idea what other chemicals you're getting with that pad burning.
9. Only bin for the oven that works are the most minimal protection for the oven, so the vape gets extremely dirty and very quickly.

Overall, when it works, it works pretty darn good and is enjoyable to use, but this device has MANY problems. No idea how Haze can offer a 10 year warranty. I'm going to contact Haze on Monday and see what they say about all these problems. My guess is there's some way for them to get out providing warranty service and I'll be stuck with a $250 paperweight.

I spent the whole Memorial Day Weekend on the computer looking for the right vaporizer for me. My needs aren’t unique, but I did need something easy to clean, easy to open and close and easy to fill. I do have a slight problem opening the battery compartment at times because of the lack of strength in my hands, but I consider that miner given my other needs. After researching all the top portables on the market, I decided on the Haze and then came the search of who to trust on the internet.

I read every review i could find and had to wait until VaporNation was open to actually call and ask questions. They were extremely helpful and put my mind at ease. I read reviews about different websites, but they came out on top in that area also. Once I placed my order in the afternoon, I received my package in 4 days, which was the day they told me it would come. I had to call one more time with a few questions, and again they were very helpful and said they would be available any time I had a question. I was very happy with their customer support and also received the Memorial Day Discount being offered. I would definitely purchase from VaperNation again and would recommend them without any hesitation.

This is the second vape I've owned, my first being the Kandypens 24K K-Vape. After intensive research, I concluded that the Haze Dual V3 is the best overall vape on the market today, and after using it multiple times and putting the unit through its paces, I stand by that statement! The device is easy to use and offers a wide array of customization options. The vapor production/quality is fantastic, the battery life is more than generous, and it handles herbs very efficiently. I would strongly recommend this to anyone looking for a solid vaporizer that will last!

This was a great first vape. I did a lot of research my dispensary has great flowers, concentrates, shatter and hash so I definitely wanted a multi-purpose device to administer a variety of meds. I got a great price/discount from VaporNation and given the 10 Year Warranty this was as close to risk free decision as one can get. The device itself works pretty flawlessly I had some questions and Scott from Haze Technologies answered almost immediately. Being a total newbie, I wasn't exactly sure how to use the different screens. I love the canisters for pre-loading and it certainly makes cleanup a snap. The screens not as much. Being OCD as hell I would be cleaning everything all the time anyway. It makes for a first time experience all the time.. My first sesh was amazing! I had some Blueberry Kush and it tasted Incredible! My first dab of Shatter was an equally pleasant experience. I don't miss paper's, lighters, matches, sulfur or combustion! As a child of the Woodstock generation (I was there btw,) I am loving this new technology.

I am delighted with this vaporizer. The quality of the vapor is top notch and I really like the design with two cans that can be filled: when you're done with one can, you can switch to the other. The design is brilliant and the parts are SO EASY TO CLEAN (which is one of my biggest complaints about the Storz Bickel Mighty vaporizer which is a huge pain in the butt to clean). And this comes at a very decent price for a top-quality machine. So I have to disagree with some critics who call this a solid "2nd tier" vaporizer: in my view, it's top notch in terms of ease of use and cleaning and above all, the quality of the vapor it produces. MY FAVORITE VAPORIZER SO FAR!!!!! WELL WORTH THE PRICE WITH ITS TEN YEAR WARRANTY.

Really enjoying this vape. I have an OG pax, but I really like the session provided with the haze. I love all the tools and things that come with it. I really enjoy setting up cans and screens and then just popping them in the oven. I think the vapor is cooler and more flavorful than the pax, but not quite as thick and potent. Best advice would be medium grind, lightly packed and wait 10 or 15 seconds between draws. I like the efficiency, and the flavors on temp 1 and 2. This is a great vape that does a lot of things right.

My batteries came apart!! The plastic surrounding the battery wears out on the ends from taking it in out of the charger and the negative end cap comes apart. I've only had it for 5 months and like it a lot. You have to hold the battery when removing it from the charger or it will shoot across the room. I tried to contact the manufacturer but they didn't get back.

This device is just awesome to use Review by  on October 28, 2015
Pros Duel chambers, Removable Batteries, Cool Look
Recommend to a friend? Yes
Performance
Value

The duel chambers and easily replaceable battery were the features that appealed to me before buying. I find it easy to fill and easy to clean. It does a great job of vaporizing dry herb without ever burning it and heats up in a reasonable time. The unit does just about everything very nicely.

Of the two types of screens I prefer the convection, the screen that does not allow direct contact between the material and the heating chamber. This method is supposed to be a healthier way of vaporizing. This method doesn’t produce huge clouds but does not generate much odor and I get plenty of effect and is a little gentler on my throat than using the conduction screens.

I’ve found the herb has to be quite dry and have a medium grind for best results. I fill the chambers loosely and press the material down lightly.

I clean the mouth piece and airflow path with isopropyl alcohol, the cleaning tool brush and a q-tip. I rarely clean the chambers with isopropyl and generally just use the broom part of the cleaning tool and I scrape them out with the top and end of tweezers. I rub the rubber tops with my fingers to dislodge any particles and never use alcohol on them. I' guessing they will hold up longer that way.

The only things I wish were different are the door latching mechanisms on my V2.5 battery and chamber compartments. I am very careful closing them as I think something plastic will break off.

So that’s my 2-cents worth. Great device. Great vaporizer.

HAZE - Responsive to buyers! Review by  on October 5, 2015

Although my v2.5 was slower than others reported, I'm not downrating it due to that because Haze really listened to buyer input in FC and the v3.0 has very important upgrades. Also, I bought into the $99 upgrades for life program and that worked exactly as promised. scottg402 in FC as our trused and valued Haze rep is absolutely super!

While the price is a bit high, this vape has versatility I've not seen anywhere else from the patented and highly useful 2 oven design to working with most materials. Also, with the $99 upgrades for life thing, that skews the value in favor of Haze bigtime, IMHO.

This review is for the v2.5 so I'll not say much about my v3.0 except that it is super!

My screen name in FC is the same as for this review.

Great versitile Vape Review by  on September 1, 2015
Pros 2 chambers, lots of vapor, Removable Batteries

Cons 1.5-2 min heat up time, mouthpiece gets stuck
Recommend to a friend? Yes
Performance
Value

This cape is a bit expensive at around $200 but it comes with a 10 year warranty and from an American company. Haze also has an amazing deal where you can buy unlimited upgrades for a one time fee of $99. The new version (V3) will be out mid september this year (2015) which solves the problem with the mouthpiece getting stuck inside the vape and some other advances.

Vapor quality: Above average, not the best tasting vapor (still satisfying) but it does get thick and produce large clouds, I have a Zeus Smite which is about $100 cheaper and I would say it has slightly tastier vapor

Manufacturing quality: great engineering, it feels solid and I used it heavily for 6 months and it never faulted

Portability/Discreetness: very portable, its small and easily fits in your hand but it kind of looks like you are sipping out of a flask

Pros: What I really like about this vape is that you can use 3 different methods with your herbs. It also comes with external batteries which means you can vape with one battery and have the other one charging at the same time and if you are out and about you have 2 batteries giving you about 2 hours of vaping. If the batteries go bad you can easily replace them for just $20. Also the 2 chambers is great for when you are out since you can have 2 sessions without repacking which is awesome.

Cons: The heat up time is long at 1.5 min for low temps and 2 mins for high temps and you need to wait about 10-15 seconds between draws to get the most vapor. These two factors make sessions longer than I would like when I'm out. Doesn't bother me at home though.

Tips: Convection screen: What I found best was starting with level 3 heat and taking 2-3 draws which is great tasting then to heat level 4 to finish it off which gives nice thick draws
Concentrate canister: I use this for dry herbs because it produces thick vapor at lower heat settings (2-3) which means quicker heat up time and longer battery life

In conclusion its a great vaporizer and I recommend it.

Awesome vape, poor price point. Review by  on July 13, 2015
Pros Simple. heats up fast

Cons Pricey, pain to clean.

This is only my second vape, so don't put too much clout in it if you're scrolling through. My first was the solo, if that matters.

Overall I love it, but I still don't know whether I feel it's worth the hefty price, that's the main reasoning for my crass tone here. In comparison to the solo, it's simpler to use, more versatile and heats up in half the time. After breaking it in it also seemed to give a better, cleaner taste.

It doesn't quite feel as solid as I would expect for the price though, the front door and battery flap are downright flimsy and it gets scalding hot near the activated bowl.

My biggest problem is probably one of the cooler design features, the stem which hides inside the device. Within 2-3 sessions the stem and insides get enough gunk for it to become stuck and require the tweezers to pull out. The recommended q-tip with alcohol along with the poor brush they offer hardly seems to make a difference, preventing a sticky stem for 1 or 2 uses. So when actually turning the device off I opt to pull the stem out instead of deal with the headache of getting it unstuck.

It seems like a great design feature that shouldn't have actually made it past prototype. I can't imagine anyone cleaning their device after every use, or carrying around all the tools to do so. If I used it outside the house I would be incredibly disappointed, for my simple needs it's satisfactory but it was intended as a long-term solution and I'm not sure I see it being one.

I separate little slot for the stem would be nice, since the original is unusable to me. I would also really like if you could turn it off and on without removing the stem, seems like a pointless hassle and opens up the potential for a misplaced stem.

I think the Haze is on the right track. I've been using it for awhile now and have enjoyed the great vapor it produces from buds. i recently came upon some wax and concentrates. After less than five uses the entire vaporizer became all gummed up. The small metal and rubber top seal came loose. I did exactly as instructed but still encountered this issue. On top of that some of the plastic melted a little bit as well.

The vape is solid don't get me wrong. The taste is fantastic, but I think its promotion for allowing a bunch of different type of materials still needs some serious work. It looks good but a few of the design components are not well made at all. I'm thinking to switch back to just buds to not damage it further. I hope with the next version they will address some of these issues.

An amazing tool - 21st century herb consumption Review by  on May 14, 2015
Pros Discrete, stylish, nice for sharing, fun

Quality
Aesthetics

This is my first vaporizer. There's just something awesome about not needing a lighter; not smelling like smoke; not having the 'combustion' chemicals released from joints or bowls into your mouth and lungs; and actually tasting the flavor of the herb you are volatilizing. It makes things new and fun again. I have tried and like the Atmos Boss, but it is small and has a limited use of just ground herb. It's definitely a solo device. I remember a friend introducing me to a red colored heat gun he bought at Home Depot and a mylar turkey bag 10 years ago. I thought it was great, but super cumbersome. In 2009 I was introduced to the awesome and user friendly Volcano and a mylar bag. It was great in a group setting and stylish. The price point and lack of portability also made me pass on that device. The technology has come along way in the past few years. I bought this beauty online on 4-20 and saved $50 : ) The price was very fair. Having watched YouTube reviews first I was unsure what to expect from the Haze V2.5. This device allows you to do flower, liquid, or wax and the fact that there are two chambers gives you versatility (one flower, one wax, or whatever combo suits you). I love the two batteries and excellent charger. The 4 temps are outstanding. I typically use the 3rd setting for flower. At #4 things are a little 'hot' for my taste with dry herb. The flavor is tremendous. The conduction vs the conduction screen is a fun experiment. Supposedly the convection screen (full basket) = more flavor versus the conduction (2 side walls open) = bigger clouds. They both work well and I am not sure which I prefer. The Haze is great to share with friends as well. I took it to a local outdoor concert venue and discretely vaped with some pals - with nary a sideways glance from the people around us. Vaping just seems so much better than smoking. Now when my wife goes to sleep and I want some late night relaxation I can head out in the backyard and do one heating reservoir full (which can vary from 10-15 puffs depending on your grind and amount packed). Boom - it's easy, makes negligible odor, and your fully 'medicated'. I have only used the metal mouthpiece so far and it does get sticky in the unit after multiple uses. A simple q-tip soaked in rubbing alcohol clears things up easily and quickly to the body of the Haze. The enclosed brush tool easily fits in the metal tube and helps remove it from the unit if it gets too resin'y' and stuck in there.

Really I can't say enough great things about the Haze. It is truly 21st century and well engineered and thought out by its designers in Alpharetta, Georgia. Vaping Nation is a solid and stand up company. I initially had a shipping snafu, but they promptly resolved it. Get a Haze - you'll be very happy with your investment and it has a 10 year warranty. It's a no brainer.

This Haze Vaporiser is fantastic. It heats up relatively quickly, it holds a generous amount of herb, the batteries last an impressive amount of time, the vapour is very clean, and perfect for on the go. After a good amount of use the mouthpiece begins to stick inside its holding place due to the buildup of "honey" residue, which does not allow it to easily glide out; however, a quick pull with tweezers pops it right out. The battery cover comes undone just a little too easily, as well. On balance, a fantastic vaporiser.

Not ready for prime time Review by  on January 12, 2015
Pros Produces good vapor, dual bowl

Cons Doesn't always turn on, batteries are fragile
Recommend to a friend? Not Sure

The dual bowl feature is great! I love the removable cans. I have a couple of other portable vapes, and it's very hard to clean the chambers/bowls out effectively on them. With the Haze, I just use the removable cans, which are very easy to clean. At this point, the inside of the chambers on my Haze, still look brand new. You could also use the dried herb screens instead of the cans, but I felt that the cans would be more durable, and so I went with them. The vapor quality was the best I've ever had from a portable. Removable batteries would be a plus, but... (read cons below)

One thing I would like to see on the Haze is some kind of indicator to let you know which bowl was last used.

Now the cons:

- The power on/off and bowl selector switch on the Haze I got, worked intermittently on one of the bowls at first, but now it's doing the same for both. Sometimes it takes 3-4 mins to get it to turn on the bowl you want. The whole switch/selector feels pretty flimsy too. I can see this wearing out, or breaking rather quickly from normal use.

- The replaceable batteries are very easily damaged. I dropped one of them while changing them out, and it fell about 3ft to the hardwood floor. No big deal right? When I picked it back up, I noticed the outer layer (clear plastic skin) had split from the impact, and was unraveling. No big deal, it was probably supposed to come off anyhow, right? Wrong! This thin clear plastic skin that was unraveling, holds a metal disc on the negative end of the battery - the part that makes contact to complete the circuit! I taped it up, and all is fine now, but really? Which brings me to another point... If you think having replaceable batteries means that you'll be using the Haze for years to come - I mean just replace the batteries every so often and you're in business again, right? Think again! I seriously doubt that the Haze will last longer than the batteries!

- The bowl door is a bit shaky and is locked using friction. Once the plastic starts to wear out, the door may no longer lock. This could be a big problem.

- The mouthpiece gets stuck in its storage place after only a few uses, requiring frequent cleaning. I'm willing to bet that after a while cleaning won't help either, as the bottom of that storage area gets gucked up with no easy way to clean it.

This is my first vaporizer and I really like it. No more coughing my lungs out after smoking. The use of a separate battery is great. I really don't like messing with the USB charger things. Unit definitely comes up to temperature quickly. Vapor is just a little bit hot at hottest setting, you just need to learn how to ghost in the vapor along with some air if this is a problem. The unit feels good in the hand and is quite attractive. I much prefer the conduction screen to the convection screen for dry herb and have not used it yet for wax. The only tiny concern is that handling the little trays and screens and silicon covers is a bit of work. I sometimes use the ultra cool tweezer (included) to manipulate the parts. This would be the only drawback of this unit, but I can understand that the manufacturer wanted to meet the needs of all users. I load my baskets in the morning when I am fresh so they are ready for an evening session. I feel this unit will last a long time.

Next edition will probably be perfect. Review by  on November 17, 2014

The Haze vaporizer is unique in that it has two baskets. My experience was that one of the baskets heats much more effectively than the other indicating that the manufacturer has not perfected the technology to heat both baskets super effectively. The convection baskets are really flimsy and will probably have to be replaced soon. The heating time is good and the vapor quality, especially from one of the baskets is great. Glass mouth stem gets stuck at times and is hard to get it out once it gets a little residue on it. I would rate the Haze a solid 8/10.

The vapor production in the can is better than some desktop units I've tried. I don't know why some claim the crafty and mighty to be the first to get there with a portable. The Haze has been out for months. The heat exchanger definitely works and keeps the vapor at a comfortable level even on high, i'm not trying to knock the crafty just saying this one was first to get desktop production. The ability to just swap out batteries and can's is priceless especially considering most others can't do this, If you need a vaporizer that can go all day without maintenance I recommend this. I also would recommend extra can's, and removing the mouthpiece between use if you plan on more than a couple can's before cleaning. A single battery will last about an hour of use on high. The vapor quality is great for a non glass vapor path, it's oil abilities are AMAZING! It seems to make a little go a long way while getting nice clouds. I also have to point out the 10 year warranty that I know for a fact they honor, My first unit had some problems and had to exchange, They have great customer service. I highly recommend this one.
