Step 1: Activate your Budy Pen – The Budy Pen battery comes to you in the OFF position. You must turn it ON before use or charging. To turn the battery ON, click the power button 5 times quickly (within 2 seconds) and the LED lights on the battery will flash 3 times to indicate the battery is now ready to use. To turn the battery OFF, repeat the 5-click procedure. The battery will once again flash 3 times. This is a safety feature that allows you to turn your battery OFF when not in use so that it does not unexpectedly turn ON while in your pocket, purse or elsewhere.
Step 2: Fully Charge your Budy Pen – Once the battery is ON, screw the battery clockwise into the Budy USB charger and then plug the USB charger into your computer USB port or wall charger. When the battery is connected to a power source, the battery’s LED will flash to indicate charging. When the battery is fully charged the LED light on the USB will turn from red to green. We recommend that you fully charge your battery for at least 6 hours for the first time. Doing so will condition your battery for optimal performance throughout its lifespan. After the initial charge, each recharge will take approx. 2 hours.
Step 3: Using the D-Cartridge – The D-Cartridge gives you the ability to vaporize your favorite e-Liquids. It’s designed for ease of use, as you can vaporize individual applications of e-liquid or you can fill cartridge with herbal e-liquid. First, remove the cap by unscrewing it from the cover and set the cap aside. Remove the cover from the cartridge by gently pulling the cover away from the battery pack. They will reveal the clear inner cartridge. Now, carefully remove the rubber seal from inside the clear cartridge. This seal is unnecessary for individual application of e-liquid, but should be replaced if you fill the cartridge. Once the rubber seal has been removed, simply fill with e-liquid or use your favorite tool to put a little drop right in the middle of the metal nail. Replace the cover and tip, then press the power button on the battery pack to enjoy robust and full vapor.
Step 4: Using the E-Cartridge – The E-Cartridge works best with herbal e-liquids on the go. Remove the plastic tip and remove the rubber seal. Fill the tank with herbal e-liquid and replace the rubber seal. Do not overfill. Once filled, replace the tip and press the power button to activate the heating element. You may need to puncture the bottom of the rubber seal if the heating element does not do so. |
