The first thing we noticed when we started using the SSV was the amazing flavor it was able to produce. The vapor is thick and robust, you can really taste each individual blend. The difference is significant, its comparable to being able to differentiate Merlot from Chardonnay, any vape can do that. But with the SSV you are able to taste the subtle notes of gooseberry that flavor your Sauvignon Blanc.
The SSV is a very simple vaporizer to use, but there is a bit of a learning curve. It will take a few session for you to dial in your favorite temperature but once you get it dialed in there is no looking back. We recommend starting in the 2 o'clock to 3 o'clock range to start. The SSV is not known for combustion but if you do crank the temp all the way up it is a possibility.
The next thing we would like to talk about is the durability. If we could grade it 1-10 it would have to be an 11. Hand built here in the USA this is a very well made unit that uses nothing but high quality components. The slant design and wide base make it incredibly hard to knock over, shaky leg tables are no longer a legitimate threat to your vaporizer.
Cleaning your SSV is also super simple, not including the tubing there are pretty much only two pieces to worry about. You should probably clean your wand every couple weeks depending on how much you use it. The mouthpiece will take some maintenance as well but not as much or as often as the wand. If you want to learn more about the Silver Surfer check out the video we recently released. The Vapor MC will walk you through the entire vaporizer step by step.
