    This thing it awesome!

Bought my Ascent after using the original DaVinci for about a year and a half. I love the original DaVinci but this thing just blows it out of the water! The all glass vapor path is awesome and it's easy to notice the increase in vapor quality. No metal, plastic or rubber taste in the back of your throat like some of the other portable vapes. It's easy to bring from place to place because it's smaller than the average smartphone. It heats up pretty quick, too. Which is convenient for something used on-the-go. The only thing I didn't like was the overall weight of the unit. It's a little heavy for being so portable, but I can't complain too much because that usually means the unit is solid and sturdy. It's a little pricey, but not bad in comparison to other portable vapes that perform on a similar level. Overall, a great vape and I highly recommend it to others!

    Best Portable Vape I've had

I've had the VaporX XRT classic, Vaporblunt, Vapirair nos2, Pax and Volcano. This is definitely the best portable vaporizer I've ever used. It's on par with the volcano for quality. This thing has nice extra options like session length and temp so you don't have to pay attention to what you want it heating to while you're gaping. Honestly i'll never use that option in the foreseeable future. This does work and works very well though. Heat up time is about 45 seconds and its ready to go. The indicator on the from its very nice. The bottom part with the heating chamber does get relatively hot, however not to the point we're you are uncomfortable holding it. I use the included screens, one at the bottom before i load my chamber and one above the blend after. The all glass pathway, they're not kidding when they say it gives you the best taste. I've never really enjoyed vaporizing as much as i have lately with this. Best to give the glass mouth pieces a wipe down after ever use or two. I found this works best if you take very slow gentle inhales on this. Like most reviews will say, it seems to work best when you pack the chamber a good amount.

The oil jars just slide right into the heating chamber very easily. I've found you should not even fill the jars halfway though. The lids pop off while in use and if over halfway you're gonna get whatever liquid you're using everywhere. My first attempted some started dripping out the bottom because it had gotten out of the jar and down the bottom of the heating chamber through the vents at the bottom. I use tinctures in these and they work amazing with this. It would be beneficial for this to be able to stand upright on it's own. As I said before the oil jar lids pop off when in use. If you put it sideways the oils will just spill right out. Also when heating up, if left flat on a table the vapor starts coming out the bottom. I just stand it upright against something while it's cooling. Then open it and pop the oil jar lids back on and use the stir tool to take out the jars.

Price point is a bit high, however once in use it really does seem worth it, I don't have any regrets about getting this.

    Ascent

The Da Vinci was my first purchase in November, and I love it. I bought the Ascent a few week's ago , and I'm still adjusting to the "subtle" Vape stream. That's not to minimize the effects of using the Ascent, the desired results are attained, perhaps the vape is mixed with air , but my lungs feel a bit empty, although my head say's otherwise. The Ascent heats up in under a minute, well constructed and on sale is a good value. I thought my original Da Vinci would be put in mothballs, but I find myself alternating.

    Holy Vapes Batman!

I was very skeptical at first having to plunk down $200.00 for essentially a fancy pipe. Having been an 'herbal enthusiast' since my teens I always do it the old school way-simple pipe or papers. Of course I would always tend to do the chokey-cough and turn red and I was a happy camper. Last year I tried the Vapor Genie pipe and I was amazed how the harshness was removed and a smoother vape experience was bestowed on my lungs. However the DaVinci Ascent takes it to another heavenly smooth level that I never experienced. It did take me quite a few tries to acclimate myself with the temp settings and how to draw the yummy vape tastes but the evil harshies that bite my lungs are a forgotten memory now and I can't ever see using anything else. I decided on the Ascent because I like the glass on glass tubing and see why other reviews recommend it. I could have gone with the less expensive DaVinci but since it was a present to my self-why not....And a VERY HAPPY camper am I!! I do notice that the effects of the intended herb seem to creep up on me vs the quick and sudden way with a traditional pipe but it's not a bad thing at all. It heats up damn quick and before I realize the bowl is steaming. The charge seems to stay full for at least 3-5 days depending on usage and it is super portable being able to fit in a pants/shirt pocket. The overall design is ultra sleek and modern(I went with the Burl wood) and hopefully will last a very long time. I already cleaned out my herb box and put my regular pipes and bats away and the DaVinci has taken their place. If you want the premium vape experience you won't go wrong with this choice. I have yet to try any oils/liquids since that is not my area of expertise but having been a long-time herbal gerbil I give it high marks! May your vapes be merry!

    Solid

Overall, it was a good investment for me, my throat and my lungs. I like the feel, the glass, gets me where I want really smooth and heats up quickly. A couple friends have tried it too, they approve as well. I have only tried with dry herbs and I can say I am satisfied so far. The battery is fairly durable, although I charge it often. Maybe I just want to use it all the time :)

    Davinci Ascent does the job

I've had the unit for about a month and it works great. I purchased it because it has a thermostat/temperature setting. The thin glass piece that goes on the bottom; I already broke two because you have to be careful cleaning it and that it's pressed in place before you close the unit. I ordered glass replacements right after I received the unit for the first time. And...but I really don't care, the power button is stubborn sometimes maybe because it's pretty small and I have to use my finger nail. The only thing I don't like is that after every use it needs cleaned along with the glass pieces.

One of the best if you've got money

The DaVinci Ascent is a great portable that does its job fast and efficiently, however, can take some getting used to to handle properly. It's not exactly a device you can pick up and figure out right away as you need to read the instructions to fully understand how to use the device, which isn't exactly a con, but just decreases user friendliness a bit.

The Ascent contains a long battery life, and is good at holding the charge over a long period of time as I've been able to use it for multiple sessions without having to constantly recharge it right after. The device comes with screens, however, you're never instructed on how to use the screens which for me, a novice, left me a bit confused on whether or not they're necessary. You can definitely use the device without them, however, expect to frequently get bits and pieces of your herbs in your mouth, a very displeasing habit.

The glass definitely seems fragile, and while I have yet to break any pieces, I'm constantly worrying I may snap them whenever I handle them. I know many other users have had difficulties with the glass pieces, so be careful.

If you have the money to pay for it, I definitely recommend it, however don't expect it to be the holy grail of vaporizers. Just a solid build of top shelf vapes.

    High on this vape

My first vape and i am very happy with results. Not sure yet what my ideal temp will be, still experimenting. Wasn't sure how effective it was at first (doesn't produce much smoke) but in fact works very well with clean great tasting product. Now my adult daughter wants one for her birthday.

Worth the bang for your buck

This portable originally was supposed to be my next best thing if the other happened to falter; falter it has. Thus far, this vape has been SOLID (flower-based use)! This portable does takes some practice getting to know. As an individual: one figures out what temps are best (I work from lowest to highest), what kind of pack works best (moderately packed for me with some glass flower beads AND the oil can pushed in and upside down), what kind of grind is packed (med fluffy grind) and what pull works best (slow draws work for me). I enjoy the sleekness of it, the weight, the elegance, and the feel. Timed temp controls are also an added bonus for that client who likes timely release of their vapors. You get what you pay for with this portable. I also like the auto-shut feature, although can be an annoyance if other tasks are completed. In all, this is a good product!

    From Colorado

This is the 5th vap I have bought and is by far the best. Battery life is excellent, heating times are quick and glass draw enables flavors to come through. A work of beauty. The only draw back is with oils. Getting the glass container out can be tricky and guidance provided by customer service was not helpful. Looking on the internet gave the best solution. Do be aware that oil temps are much lower than flower. Another caveat is be very careful when removing the inner glass tube to clean. It is very fragile. (I broke it the first time) Maybe that's why a spare comes with the purchase. Highly recommend this cap. Cheers and may legal smoke come your way soon!
