    A Poor Purchase For All

Does not appear to work/work well with ANY type of grind or tamping. Mouthpiece began falling out of slot after two or three uses, and I could not find any way to secure it. Since I do not have an Apple IOS or Android I am prevented from making any setting changes. Harder to load and keep glass clear of stray bits.

Think I will stick to my V2 Pro Series 7 which is easy to use and maintain, and which gives a consistent strong, flavorful draw.

    Excellent in every way

I'm a fan of vaping. Been using the S & B Volcano for a while and am delighted with it. But when it comes to ease of use, portability and the capability of vaping herb as well as concentrates then the Firefly 2 has no competition. This is a small masterpiece of engineering and is my go to device. It is compact, heats rapidly and the vapor comes through cool, clean and smooth. One current temporary negative is that the Firefly 2 App is broken on iPhone iOS 11.x, but I understand it isn't the only app with teething problems on this updated platform. There is a bypass which you can find on the Firefly support site.

Had it for a week now...

Finally getting it to work right. Read the reviews for tips!!

Here's the deal. Out of the box it was beautiful. First run was heaven. Next three days were hell. Mouthpiece problems. 2nd time I used it, something happened and the mouthpiece suddenly sat too loose. I couldn't get a good seal. Extra mouthpiece same problem. 4 days of hell and frustration trying to get a good hit ad looking for mouthpieces that fall out constantly. Not cool. The solution: PLUMBING TAPE. A thin strip of plumbing tape, approx 2mm wide, should be wrapped around the end of the mouthpiece to create a tighter seal. Try and get it in the little groove that goes around then end of the mouthpiece that sits farthest in without blocking the air intake. Wrap it around three times. Magic! The mouthpiece seats perfectly. It no longer whistles when I vape :) Costs about a dollar for the tape and will save you from throwing away this vape

    10/10

The Firefly 2 is pretty awesome. The only bad thing I have to say is regarding the included charging station. For a premium product that comes with two batteries, it's pretty sad that a separate battery charger is needed if you actually want to use the device and also charge your second battery at the same time.

    Perfection!!

After smoking for 7+ years I was ready for an upgrade to my daily smoking experience. I ordered the 3-5 day shipping on Sunday and received it on Friday! The extras are better than any other website, and I received all promised. The FF2 has made me so happy with concentrates and flower. Best birthday present ever!! Of course it has its own drawbacks but for my lifestyle it's perfect

    over hyped

Never seen such hype about a product that doens't work all that well. Very nice design, easy to use and keep clean, nice taste.
Horrible battery life, often doesn't hit at all, expensive as all get out.
My friends call it the "fifty" cuz it's 50/50 whether you're going to get a hit off it or just suck air.
Sometimes go through a whole bowl, hitting it 10-15 times (trashing a battery too) and nobody feeling like they got a hit at ALL.
Arizer Solo and Air works SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much better EVERY TIME, and taste every bit as good for 1/2 the price.
Hell the $40 cheapie I bought for a week in Florida worked better than the Firefly, just a pain to clean. At least you got nice hits from it! LOL

No idea how this device got so many rave reviews........

    Great for the right person

When I was considering paying $200+ for a device like this, I did a lot of research to make sure it fit my needs. I came down to this and the Ghost for what I might buy (I wanted convection heating). In the end, I bought this and have been very happy with it (A friend has the Ghost - also, very good!). VaporNation got it to me very fast (faster than expected and I love that!) and I had read enough to use it within 60 minutes of delivery. I am an at-home, micro-dose (2-3 hits) guy - and, one pack takes me through about 3 mini sessions.

    What I like:
    1. Flavor: I was really impressed with how natural this tasted. I will never go back to burning again and the difference between conduction and convection heating is key,
    2. Quality: This is a well built device - as it should be for $300+. Also, connectivity to a smartphone for firmware updates is excellent.
    3. Simplicity: I picked this over the Ghost because it is very simple. I only hand-tear the herb (have found this works best, actually) and drop it in. After a session, I stir the bowl and repack (gently press down) and it's ready to go. Cleaning is dead simple and quick. And, I like my stuff very clean so, this suits me well.
    4. Consistency: As long as I follow the steps (hand-tear, tap down the herb, slow/steady draw) I find that every session is exactly what I expect. This is not rocket science however, it is not for those who do not have patience, either.
    5. Design: Clearly, personal preference but, I like the looks of the FF2 more than the Ghost. That simple.

    What I don't like:

    1. Price: I understand that there is a good deal of tech here. And, the quality is very good. Still, $300+ for a device like this seems $50-100 overpriced.
    2. Vapor Production: This does not produce great vapor. Sometimes... sometimes, it's pretty good. But, often there is not much. This does not mean it is not working but, I like to see the clouds.
    3. Battery life: Yes, there are two batteries. Yes, you will want to keep them charged. I micro-dose (2-3 hits) and I change the battery after a few of these mini sessions.

Overall, I am happy with my purchase (and, very pleased with VaporNation as a seller). Take your time. Follow the steps. Enjoy clean, natural, flavor.

    Anemic Performer

FF2 is an attractive, but pricey vaporizer. That would be all right if the vaporizer performed as advertised. But instead of providing easy rich draws, I found that it took a focused effort to pull enough air over a long enough period of time to generate a small to average vapor draw. On a positive note, this comes with two batteries, but average of a battery charger is only about 20 pulls or about 1-2 bowls. Another positive is, the glass vapor path which is very easy to clean. notwithstanding these attributes, performance is everything for s vaporizer. In summary, I would not recommend purchasing the Firefly 2 due to poor vapor generation.

    Hard to hit

I started with a MFLB, then bought the Firefly 2. Neither really hit well, and the battery life was absolutely abysmal. Finally got a Dynavap. No battery issues, very sturdy device, convenient, small, easy to carry. Yes, you need a lighter, but that is so much less hassle than a battery charger.
