    New User -- quite satisfied

Was looking for an alternative to smoking -- which made me cough and irritated my throat. I found this and am quite pleased with the product. It was pretty easy to learn how to use it and so far I have no complaints. For a beginner like me, this is a good and not too pricey product.

    Works great!

I have tried so many and this is the best!
This is one you will use all the time! Just have 1 set of extra screens and change when charging!
You don't need both screens in like the delivery set up!
Don't waste your money on another kind!

In next 6 months a new one with even more versatility (changeable ceramic chamber) shorter run times-use and 6-9 second warm up. Only can be ordered ahead right now by wholesalers!

    it's workable

it works like many vaporizers that require a slow-steady drawl to get a nice vape. The included silicone mouthpiece cover makes it usable after it gets hot. The BATTERY life is an issue, as it will hold up for 3 vapes, maybe 4 and then it needs a charge. >> This unit needs a removable battery with a remote charger.<< OR it needs a battery 2 times bigger.

    A lot for the money

I've had nothing but a smooth ride with this attractive little package. When I can't be bothered to unpack and set up my table-top vape setup, this is a fine substitute.

    Pulsar APX Vaporizer

I bought this because I had some credit from a previous purchase, didn't really need another vape. I am impressed with this vaporizer because it was fairly inexpensive, it works well compared to more expensive units I own, is compact in size and doesn't require a lot of material in the chamber to work well. I was looking for a smaller portable that I would not have to put so much material into to get a good solid vape no mistake about it. Lots of vape models suggest you fill the chamber at least 1/2 for best results. The other vapes I own have larger chambers that require several hefty pinches in the chamber for good results. I vape alone, so not always wanting to load up a bunch only to have it vape away upon heat up and cool down without being utilized. Call me stingy. This unit works well with a small amount of material at the 410 temp setting, delivering plenty of vape. As far as the draw, I have not owned a portable vape that is as easy to draw from as a smoking implement usually is. People not used to vaping often mention this as a drawback. Hard draw is pretty typical among models/brands of portable vapes unless you clean them all the time. Hit that thing (insert portable vape name here) like a tobacco pipe, puffing the smoke into your mouth several times before drawing into your lungs. I have only owned this for about 4 weeks so cannot really give you an idea of durability or battery issues. This would be a good vape for someone on a budget or a first time purchaser or any one that is looking for a smaller portable unit.

    Great little vape

I wanted to review and share some advice. This is my first vape, so I really have no other device to compare its performance to. I watched many video reviews and read many also. For this one as well as many others. I saw nothing but good ratings. I didn't want to spend a lot of money because I wanted to make sure vaping was right for me. I have been very pleased with it. Great vapor on 392. Wait a few seconds between draws to let vapor build up before each draw. I found you can get best cloud performance. I can't say anything about taste because I've never vaped before. Way better than the taste of burnt herbs I can tell you that much! I agree with all the reviewers on this site with their main complaints, however. Draw is hard but I have found barely putting your lips up to the hole and inhaling similar to puffing a joint rather than lips around the whole mouthpiece and sucking like a pipe works out much better. Use the rubber cover all the time and you won't have the hot mouthpiece problem either. Cleaning the screens after use is essential for best draw. I saw another reviewer does exactly what I do. Get a small bottle with an eyedropper. I use an empty vape juice bottle that I cleaned out. Fill it with Isopropyl alcohol. Take the screens apart on a paper towel and squirt everything and use a q tip to clean off all the residue. Then assemble it and rinse under water. When I am too lazy to take it fully apart, I squirt the alcohol all around it, rinse with water and put it back on the mouthpiece. For battery life I just charge often. I was looking at getting a Davinci IQ but really think I want to just stick with this guy for now. Fits my needs just fine and I don't have to feel bad about spending all that money on they other! It's not a bad vape at all once you figure out the little quirks.

HIGH QUALITY-BIG BANG FOR YOUR BUCK

User friendly, total ease of use. Works beautifully. Conduction heating is wonderful. It provides a smooth and flavorful hit. Totally different experience than the traditional combustion method of smoking. Zero carcinogens, no petroleum based chemicals and back-ash flavor. You actually taste your herb. Cleaning is cinch as there is no ash , no tar, only golden-brown dried out remnants that brush out from ceramic chamber. The ceramic chamber (dry'herb chamber) is 3/8"Dia. x 7/8"L. which is a decent bowl full. The unit has the physical feeling of hold a traditional cigarette lighter in the palm of your hand. I find the 425°F temp the most optimal for an easy inhaling draw. I have zero complaints about this product. It's super stealth with its inconspicuous design . I love it and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for high quality for a reasonably low price. A++++

    Great entry level unit

Pros: Portability, size, multiple heat settings
Cons: Poor battery life over time, screens hard to find (make your own), gets really hot, not good for sharing

This is probably one of the best in this price range. Fantastic for a first timer. Easy to use and multiple temp settings is a giant plus.
My biggest complaint is the mouthpiece tends to pop off while in my pocket, dumping flower or post vaped material.
Screen gets clogged quickly. I suggest making your own or be diligent about cleaning them frequently.
When sharing or passing unit gets really really hot. Not the best for puff puff pass.
After about 10 months of daily use the battery goes from full to red in a bout 4 uses.
If your looking to just get started or simply want a good back up unit you really cant go wrong for the price!

Pulsar APX – a great first choice

I am very happy with Pulsar APX. Being a 1st time vaporizer, I didn't want to spend a lot of money on something I might not continue to use. I wanted a pure convection vaporizer even at the lower price point. All the downsides mentioned in other reviews do not apply to me. I am the sole user, so warm-up time and time between multiple draws isn't a problem for me. It is small and discrete. Recharging isn't an issue...since I only use the unit at night, I just re-charge it during the day. Cleaning the screens is a breeze...just a short soak pure isopropyl alcohol and a good rinse in water and they're good to go. Even though I got a boring old blue one, I liked that I had additional choices. If I buy another, I might get more adventurous. The draw is easy and I love that my bedroom doesn't smell like herb anymore. The changer is easy to clean out. I also love that it's a small chamber that you don't have to fill completely. I put in enough for one use and that's all. This vaporizer meets all my needs, although for a heavy user, it would be better to buy a unit that had a bigger chamber. However, this unit was the perfect choice for me. It is very simple to use. It took me some experimenting to figure out the best heat setting for me, but that's about it.
The only two downsides might be the following.
    1) the battery isn't replaceable, but at this price point, that's a very small downside. When the rechargeable battery can no longer take a charge, I'll just get another one.
    2) you shouldn't use it while it's charging...no big deal.
Again, if you are a heavy-user, this unit would be great for a back-up or for your pocket-pal, but probably not for your primary. The only reason I gave it a "4" for Quality is that the button seems a little loose. That's probably just me...it works just fine every time.

    Waste of money,

I originally went with this at the local vape store for $60 and change, for the flower burning, shatter and wax all in one. After one burn EVERYTHING tastes like burnt chestnuts. It will not even hold a charge. A vape pen and a bowl are much better. Never again; this product is a beta piece of garbage.
